Looks Good to me Sue.

The Crickmays were bankers. Thier daughter married G J Child. Her son  G W went in to Banking. His Granpa was a seedsman... all we now need iis o know more about his Dad.

The brother fluent in E J C S sounds like a person trained for either the church or International trade.

Still intriguing, eh?

Colin

On the last column for 1861, it is stated if the person is
'Whether Blind, or Deaf-and-Dumb'

For the niece (DES Child), it has the initial what looks like CS

"The White Horse Inn" a famous Ice Show and Musical! of my youth!

I said I was getting old!!!

It look as if he deserted his family and ran off with either his partner or the 19 year old servant..?
