hello
i have found a reference num to a poor law index, which has my ancestors on it.. is there any more info i can obtain, and what do i do with this ref num  ???

Presumably this reference you have is for the Gloucestershire Overseers records?  The transcriptions are held in the Gloucester Record Office.
