Hi Jane,

Devon is not very well covered yet on the NBI, only five places at the moment, Hemyock not being one of them but I did check they were not entered anywhere else. :( I wish I could be of more help.

Kind Regards,

Frances :)

PS Sorry no luck with the Kent look-up either ???

Hi Jane

The actual parish registers for Rainham are online so you might find what you are looking for there ...............

Thankyou for your help.

Yet another trawl through city ark! Is there a quick way of doing it?
Anyhow, must not complain as it is a fab resource!

Thanks

hello
Trawled through last night and found another child baptised Mary Ann Wheatley in 1833. There must be more as it is rather a large gap from Sarah  Wheatley in 1821.
Although I did see lots of spots!! and not just from wearie eyes!!
At least I now know there is not an easier method.

Perhaps census will help. I'll ask in new topic.

thanks
Jane
