cholera
« on: Sunday 09 April 06 20:45 BST (UK) »
I dont know if I am in the right place but. I am looking for ancestors in Bedwelty. Most have worked at the Iron works in Tredegar and went to Hughesovka in1870s returning to Yorkshire. I am unable to find the parents of Charles 1831 and James Allcock 1833. Did they die in the plague? Are they in the cholera cemetry?bAre they in the Bedwelty Parish Register? Any help with the Allcocks gratefully received

Thank you so much Rhys. These do appear to be a correct family. Dates names places all fit in.I am so glad that charles and James parents didnt die with cholera. Its an interesting family history and I am glad that you responded to my query. I think a trip to Wales is now essential. Jean
