George Paterson and Margaret? Aughton

These are my husband's grandparents. Aughton seems very rare - anybody know anything about them. Probably mining family, eventually Annbank/Tarbolton.

It would help us to help you if you could include dates of birth & places for these ancestors.  Maybe you could post a census you have found them on?
