Sarah ? B 1817 East Retford married to Thomas MARSH b. 1818 Clarborough - What was her surname, would these records only be held in Nottingham?

Hello :)

A page I find useful for finding out where records are kept is

http://www.johnsgenealogy.com/ntt_prs.asp

This shows that baptisms pre-1813 are held by Notts Archives and the Society of genealogists. Both also hold burial records.

The LDS catalogue also includes Bishops transcripts for Clarborough, which can be ordered in at their centre to view on film.

Notts Family History Society has indexed Clarborough marriages and I suspect this one could be yours, though maybe best to double check by obtaining a birth cert. for one of the children?

Thomas Mash (sic) and Sarah Best Clarborough 24/12/1834
