Hi Allan,

Further to your request -- I came across a Margaret BROWNRIDGE today, in the 1841 Census of Glencairn.

Margaret was aged 19 years (b. in DFS circa 1820), and she lived in the Holmhead household of farmer Robert Austin, with whom she was employed as the ubiquitous agricultural labourer.

A quick check of LDS-IGI gave a Margaret BROWNRIDGE born 9 Jan 1820 in Glencairn.  Parents named Thomas BROWNRIDGE & Mary HARPER.

Perhaps this Margaret is your Thomas' sister...?

The 1841 Census of Glencairn has a Thomas BROWNRIDGE, age 17 (born circa 1824).  He was living at Blackstone Outhouse, and was employed as an agricultural labourer.  He was born in county.

There is also a Mary HANNAH, age 20 (born circa 1820) who was born out of county.  She was living in the "Crichan" household of farmer Alexander Kennedy and was employed as a "female servant".

Thomas BROWNRIDGE was born about 1824. He died before 1867.
