There's definately something maniacal in the time we spend searching!  I've made one or two false moves since I started this game, and it feels like snakes and ladders at times.
But its also a lot of fun, isn;t it?  I'm particularly keen on some of the more unusual names that can be dug up - see http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php/topic,29743.0.html for an example.  Then you'll REALLY be able to waste some time!
