Hello: I have posted this in other places but now I know where they come from I thought I'd try here. I am looking for James Wallace and Annie( Agnes Stevenson) from Old Kilpatrick. I found an Agnes Stevenson ( widow) on the 1851 Glasgow Census ; children 's last name Wallace. I have seen several instances of entering the woman's maiden name on these early census. the children are the correct names i am looking for so I think I am right. the children are: James (1828), Agnes (1831), Janet( 1834), Mary ( 1835).
Mother was born circa 1794. I am hoping they are my Wallace's who moved to Glasgow, and then after James Married Mary Buchanan, they moved to Bo'ness. Does anyone have information that cam help? Thank you...Donna
