Hi Steve,

Is there anything else that you know?
Where was Thomas born?
What was his father's occupation?

I certainly can't promise he's the only match but just in case, I see this in 1871:
RG10/5454 58 17
Swansea, Glamorgan
1 Bargeman Court

David Edwards, head, 25, Labourer
Sarah, wife, 25
Thomas, son, 7, scholar (age matches with his age in 1901)
John, son, 5, scholar
Sarah A, dau, 2, b. do.

Everybody born Swansea
