Would someone be willing to do a lookup for William Harrison in the 1851 census transcript of Barnsley? His age, I'm guessing, would have been between 15 and 24.

Harrison seems to be a popular name in Barnsley in 1851!

There are eight Williams,none match your age group.
4,5,10,31,36,37,40,45 are the ages I have to  offer.

Have you done your sums correctly??!!

Thanks, Rebel. I didn't know there would be so many William Harrisons in 1851 Barnsley. My William is probably either the 31, 36, 37, or 40 year old. I'll have to wait until the 1871 West Riding census is finally put online, so I can, I hope, learn the name of my William Harrison's wife.
