Evan Roberts (Corwen)

Hi,
  Does anybody know anything of an Evan Roberts (believed born Corwen, either 1793, 1795 or 1796 according to which source you believe) who went to Amlwch as a young man to work in the copper mines?

Your man appears to be on the 1841/1851 census and in the names of miners section of this link.  The likely marriage to Mary Jones is also there on 10/10/1820

He is still alive in 1861 widower with grandson Evan born 1849 Amlwch, alone in 1871 a pensioner, do you have these?

Thanks both - my fault for not making myself clearer - I'm fairly well up on him in Amlwch, it's his background in Corwen that I know nothing about.
