Hasenden. Where?
« on: Wednesday 19 April 06 19:18 BST (UK) »
In the 1851 census, William SIMPSON (b around 1802), living in Ovenden, Halifax, is listed as born in Hasenden.  As far as I am aware, this place does not exist.  Any ideas?  He married Mary PRESTON in Slaidburn and his children Robert (1831), John (1833) and Ellen (1835) were all born there.
