Could anyone help with a marriage look-up at St Andrews Church, Epworth please between...

William STOREY and Ann LAUGHTON

It should be around 1835-ish

Thanks.

Andy

Hello Andy,

As I've been searching Epworth for awhile I have a few Isle of Axholme Parish index.

These are the only entries I can find for Storeys in my books:

Eliza Storey dau. of William/Ann Bap. 2/May/1837  Fathers occ. Miller

William Storey Died Epworth buried 31/Dec/1867 age 56
Ann Storey Died Epworth buried 5/Jan/1853 age 35

This would mean that 1835 William would have been 32ish and Ann would have been 18ish
so they could be the couple

Hope this helps.

All the best, Anne.

There was an Ann LAUGHTON to a William DAWSON 13 Sept 1836 at Epworth - could he have used a different name for some reason?

Don't cry because its over. Smile because it happened.

In case you haven't seen it, the IGI has a baptism 30 June 1811 at Epworth of William STOVEY, son of John and Elizabeth.

I note that a John and Elizabeth STOREY were having kids in Epworth around that time.
Don't cry because its over. Smile because it happened.
