1851 CENSUS... Walton on Thames.
« on: Friday 15 October 04 16:49 BST (UK) »
Hi.
Can anyone help.  Looking for Joseph and Ann WEEDON. They were married in Isleworth in 1827 but I believe the family drifted towards Walton. The 1851 census  may show that one of his children was called Charles. Although Charles would have been 22 years old he may still be at home. He did not marry until he was 30.  Hoping census will show birth place of Joseph and Ann.
Many thanks.

hi there

I have the index  for Surrey 1851 and can find no Joseph Weedon listed, there are a couple of Charles but they are not the right age.

Sorry its not the news you wanted  :(

Hi Lewey

Thanks for your efforts. I assume they must still be living in Isleworth then.
 Many thanks

I can see Surrey 1841 and their is only 1 Joseph, he is aged 15 (1841 rule 15-20=15) with his mother Hannah (Ann?) and other siblings including one that is a month old but no Charles! and they are all in the High Street at Barnes, Surrey

If? everything is as it should be.........the husband is away working or has died within the last year or one of those miracle things has occurred?

So............. Your Joseph is not in the County or has died or isnt called Joseph at all.............

Sorry Bryant
Researching names BRYANT (Camberwell), PASTERFIELD (Essex and all), RAY (Holborn/Islington areas back to Brentford), POWELL (Glouc & beyond?)
Fletcher (Glouc into Warwickshie into Lancs?), BUCKLEY (Chatham area), Watson (Chatham area).
