Hugh Kelley/Kelly??

After doing a bit of delving I think I may have traced my great grandmother (waiting for a marriage certificate to confirm).

If what I've found is correct her father is Hugh Kelly/Kelley and he was born in Ireland circa 1844.  I've worked out that he and his family must have moved to Cumberland from Ireland in aroun 1869/70.  Does anyone know how I can find any more information about him

the information I have (from english census returns) is:

John brn c 1871 Cumberland, England
Mary J  bn c 1873 Cumberland, England (my great grandmother possibly)

Sarah A bn c 1880 cumberland, england

Is anyone able to help with this?

I would think the first one is the closest.  Sarah (daughter sarah) was born in England and 10 years after they moved (from my dates)

ask for a 1871 census lookup on the Cumberland Board

I've got the 1871 entry already.

That was how I found out that the first two children were born in Ireland.
