Hi Emmeline,

I haven't worked out what it says before Whitechapel, but I think the little writing after Elizabeth's name says "marr of Mrgt Latters"?????  That makes no sense to me, but that's what it looks like!  ;D

There's also a "b" for bachelor and "s" for spinster after the two names, and a "Lic" for Licence at the bottom.

NOt much help, am I!  ::)  ;D

I just worked it out!!!!

It says "Marr AT Margt Latters(?) (ch of St Dunstan being under repair).

So the marriage took place at another church!

Thanks so much Prue........and Annie. What would we do without you two ! !
Now there is only the word before Whitechapel. Expect a lot don't I but am thrilled with the result so far. Well done.

P.S. So much for my ' now at ' !
