Are there any Census or Rolls of Serving Soliders of garrisons, etc. for the Newcastle area?

I'm looking for a George Burr - Soldier, that is all the information I have.  He was dead by 1851.

Hi I'm not sure if you still use this site but I'm tracing the same burr family as you. I can tell you that george burr snr was dead before 1840 as I have the marriage certificate for his other son Richard to Caroline weller in 1840 and he is is listed as deceased on there also. I have George burrs marriage to Mary ann prudhoe in 1816 from parish records I can email copy if u like. Get in touch of you have any new or further info. Thanks. Gordon
