The John mentioned was born c 1805 so unlikely to be the one mentioned in your document.
But may be his Father?

A Tree has his Parents as John Bennet and Elizabeth Glidewell and indeed I have found a Marriage.

Elizabeth GLIDEWELL/John BENNET 28 Sep 1800 St Margaret of Antioch, Rochester
John is a Widower*

They also have John Snr dying 1810 and Elizabeth 1808

If Elizabeth died 1808 John may have remarried;
20 Aug 1809, St Peter and St Paul, Stoke* John BENNET to Sarah HYLES
He is a Widower*

A James Miskin is a witness.

Now if John snr died 1810 and this looks like Sarah his  3rd Wife remarried it explains why John jnr and his wife Sarah Miskin name a son Thomas Knight Bennet in 1830

John jnr would have likely been brought up by his stepmother and her husband by what I can see.

He was a Blacksmith but this appears to be him in 1851 a Farmer;
