Velvet mills belonging to Armitage
« on: Friday 28 April 06 18:27 BST (UK) »
Hi all

Does anyone know if there was a velvet mill in Yorkshire in the late 1700s or earlier owned by the Armitage family?  I am afraid that I have no idea where in Yorkshire this mill might be but would be grateful for any help.

Hopefully
