Thank you so VERY much Darcy!

But now I have a REAL problem  :'(

The Thomas & Jane Dodsworth that I want have a daughter called Sarah born in Malton in 1847, for it is she who married George Pashby on 28th June, 1874 in Scarborough. It looks like the one you found (he's a navvy) but none of yuor research throws up a daughter Sarah!!

So now I'm stumped!

I have the solution to your problem;D ;D There is a very good chance that this is Thomas Dodsworth's mother and sister Jane. They had a wee bit of a problem with the spelling of the name. ;D
