Saving Emails

How can I quickly transfer emails from a previous account onto a new account?

I have no idea why but our email accounts on the web don't keep the emails.  I have thoroughly checked through the options and there is nothing which will stop them being deleted.  They disappear even if you haven't read them.  The only way to access old emails is through Outlook on the old computer.  The old computer has spyware and is about 7 years old anyway so we figured we should get a new one.  I would rather not have to connect to the internet using the old computer because I don't know what the spyware is doing.  Is there a way that I can save messages on the old computer onto a memory stick and then open them up on another computer?
