coopers, budleigh salterton
« on: Tuesday 02 May 06 14:49 BST (UK) »
I have just discovered that one of my ancestors was John Cooper, a baker from this area on the 1851 census. His daughters were lacemakers and his son, John D Cooper an apprentice carpenter.

I would be very interested in any information on this family but was wondering if someone from the area could look into bakers from this time and possibly find a picture.

I know this is a very long shot but if you don't ask you don't get. I would love to know a little more about the area.

Just a thought but there is a book about Budleigh Salterton and many postcards for sale on Ebay at the moment.

Best Wishes
