I have received and replied to a PM's recently where on looking at the persons profile to possibly help with the request, found that they had made no posts on the board at all

On scrolling through Rootschat messages I did suspect that maybe they had more than one ID $:-\$

I think you will find that there are many reasons why someone would have multiple profiles.

For instance - When I first joined Rootschat I set up my "Name" as something

and for the life of me I couldn't remember what it was when I became totally addicted to Genealogy and re-found Rootschat. So I set up a new "Name".

Nothing sinister about it.

Nothing wrong with that Di, it is when people are using two at the same time that I'm puzzled about.

It happens in the chatroom which just makes you paranoid. Why can't people just stick with one profile.
