“Notice / Intention of Marriage” Index for Hastings

Hi Chris

I'm back on line  after a weekend break in Yorkshire. 

From your correspndance with Amy I see that you have access to the  “Notice / Intention of Marriage” Index for Hastings.  I have never heard of this before so I have a few questions:

1. What is the last date covered?

2. What area does it cover eg does it extend as far as Pett?

3. Do similar Indexes exist for other places in Sussex or further a field?

4. Could you please look up any references to the surname Thorpe.
