Abingdon Gravestone Inscriptions for PRINCE
« on: Monday 08 May 06 18:28 BST (UK) »
Hello

I was wondering if anyone here has transcriptions of the gravestone/monument inscriptions for Abingdon St Nicholas and St Helens?

If so I would be very grateful if you would consider providing me with any information relating to the surname PRINCE. If there are a lot, it is mainly the name JOHN PRINCE I am interested in and especially one that was buried in St Nicholas on 19 Jan 1774.

Many thanks in advance for anyone who can help.

Best wishes

Ali :)

I think you will find that Oxfordshire FHS sell a fiche for St Nicholas for £1.60.  You can certainly order it by mail from Berkshire FHS but not online.

Thanks for that - I'll have a look. Then I would just need to find somewhere to read it! I assume some of the local libraries nearby must have readers. Thanks again. Ali :)
