Hi

I only discovered today that Birmingham libraries appear to have access to certain databases from home.

http://www.birmingham.gov.uk/GenerateContent?CONTENT_ITEM_ID=71182&CONTENT_ITEM_TYPE=0&MENU_ID=5396

Unfortunately I tried to access "Gale newspapers" and it will not accept my library number. I went into my local branch and because no one there realised that this service was available, they couldn't help (although the lady tried to contact someone and hopefully will have some positive info soon)

I just wondered if anyone has been able to access the databases.

Cheers

Vonny

Hi Vonny
i think you need to apply for a specific card to access the online stuff, but you have to go to the library and do it personally.I think it tells you somewhere on the site.
