Can anyone tell me why my surname interests are not showing? I must have done something wrong.

It's on IGI, an extracted record from OPRs which is great. It gives you an area to begin to focus on for your Tweedies line. Annan is also the parish that I know has v. basic census data for 1801/11/21. If someone could do a search for you, you might be lucky and find more info. I'll have a search now on IGI using just the batch code for Annan, sometimes births were only registered in the name of the father and no mother's details.

There is no other Tweedie births showing other than Jenet's in 1806 using the Annan batch code on IGI of C118122 (births 1703-1819).

I have found Dorcas birth entry on IGI though in Dornock, Dumfries, extracted record from OPRs:

DORCAS PITTILLO  Christening:  06 MAR 1775   Dornock, Dumfries, Scotland
      
Parents: Father:     DAVID PITTILLO Mother: ELIZABETH JACKSON    

It looks like Elizabeth Tweedie could have been named after Dorca's mother.

Hi,

The only Tweedies in the 1801-1821 census are as follows,

1811 Census for Annan,
Milnfield,
Widow Tweedie, Agnes, Janet, Mary, John

1821 Census for Annan
Jant Tweedie, sn., 2dr.
(I think this means Janet tweedie son and 2 daughters)

As for the grave stones I don't believe they are available on line. It's the library or family history society.
