Hi,javascript:replaceText('%20::)',%20document.postmodify.message);

I am researching the McGloin family originally from County Armagh.  They relocated to County Sligo around the 1830's, but have not been able to figure out why?

 In 1847 they emigrated to New Brunswick, Canada.  Have been told they have connections to the O'Connors through marriage.

Thanks for any help or info,

cheers,
linda

Armagh Ancestry hold over 300 birth records and over 100 marriage records for the following names:

McGlone and Maglone and McGlolin (and possibly McGloin, I didn't check to end)

Possibly your McGloin's are among these just with slightly different spelling. Might be worth you checking.

You can email them at:

ancestry[at]cdc.btinternet.com

replace [at] with @

but I do not know what costs are involved in checking.
