Think you could be right with the 2nd marriage. 

In 1881 they were in Bull Street, Potton so not sure how he got to Hackney, thats another story i'm sure.  Lucy died in 1884 and John didnt waste much time, but with a young family who can blame him.

I didnt realise the extensive search you did for me to find all the children.  Thanks a million.
