Hi cp,

Yes, I have the 1861 census, however I can't find a birth certificate to tie in with those dates.  I have my g-g-grandmothers marriage cert, a Mary Ann Ford Trout age 23 married to a George Bentley Green aged 29. Married Bristol 2nd Jan 1883.   This all matches the 61 census, however I can't find anything to match a birth certificate for these dates.  I have a 1881 census for her and her father which seems to tie in ok, the 71 lists only males, and other ones don't seem to tie everyone together.  I therefore don't know if James was a widower and remarried Mary Ana and then had my gggrandmother Mary Ann.  All other listings for a Mary Ann Trout are way out of my timescale, it seems she only appeared on any records at age 2 in 1861, so I am now stuck as to where to look.  I was hoping someone else may be following the same line and could help me out.  Thanks anyway, regards, Carol
