Wow Samual Mottart was in Canada too :o Am sure my Grandmother must have known some of this, if only we had asked the right questions ::). Still is fun doing it the hard way... with help of course ;D
JK

I am having such a fantastic night on RC, someone else did a parish register look up for me today and with help from the LDS's in one night I have managed to jump back another 100 years and am in a totally new county. :)

Hi JK,

Your thread is fun, hope you don't mind us getting carried away with it.

So, Ellen Pearce married Emile Mottart in 1882 in Middlesex.  Ellen and Martha are sisters?

Yes Karen,
Ellen had 8 sisters and 1 brother! They are my favourite family and are now even more intriguing :) Now I wonder if any of the others are in Canada?
Mind you getting carried away? not at all, you carry on :)

If you go to www.canada411.ca there are still Boswell's living in Grand Valley, Ontario.

Grand Valley is not very big at all and it's small enough that everyone knows each other basically.  It's referred to as "the valley" LOL

Looks like, Walter, Samuel and Henry all served in WWI.  Only Henry's are on-line, but Walter and Samuel's regimental numbers are there.

If you go to www.cwgc.org poor Henry did not survive the war and died August 28, 1918.
