a very interesting site

my older sister was and still is a nurse  even at 64 she is still working

just to see some of those old uniforms poor buggers to do the work they did and to dress like that

even when my sis started nursing it was sill all starch and whites nwdays the nurses have so much freedon in their unifroms

but we digress

Oops! yes you're right  :-[, I should have put 1884 not 1844.... that's what you get for being distracted by new dog. Thank you all for your help, I've got some information to go on now, I'll look later, it's 5.30 am now & I've got to walk the dog before going to work...... Thanks again
