Confused by all the detail. It would help if you gave surnames with the first names as there seem to quite a few together and i cant work out which belong to who.

Hello Penny,

Just a suggestion, but it would be easier and less confusing if you just put one family in your post with as much info on BMD dates and places you have to help locate your request, it helps a lot to narrow it down

I have had a look for Henry and Jane Harries within your dates of birth.  If you have Ancestry here are possibles.

1861 - RG9/4098 Folio 23  Page 4
Swansea Llangafelach
Address Bwlfa

Mistranscribed as Harres but image is Harries.

Henry m, Head 33, Llangafelach occ. mason
Jane wife, 38 dressmaker
Rachel Hopkins 85 mother in law formerly farmers wife
elizabeth, dau, 10
Hannah dau 6
Jane, 4

1871 - RG10/5447 Folio 69  Page 26
Swansea Llangyfelach

All Harries

same family as above without elizabeth, also an additional son.  Daniel Morgan Harries, 9.  Hannah is a pupil teacher, no sign of the other children.

Try to check this family on 1881 familysearch to see if you can locate additional children.  It was the best match

not sure what to think, jane the daughter seems to tie in. although i have been told he was a miner, henry harries that is. on an old family letter, about the family, it says he lived in cwmhach, not sure if that is correct spelling. is there any way of finding out when he may of emmigrated.  i have found his daughter jane in  1881 censusRG11/5324 page 12. married to william davis. and also on a couple of other census forms.
