Hi there,

I had a quick look for you on Ancestry, but there are an awful lot of John Hughes's!!

Do you have any other names/dates etc?

Do you know, was his father called Silvanno Hughes?

Romilly.

Hi Again,

Its free to look on Ancestry.com, - have you tried a general search there?
If you find him on there, then you can request a Census Look-up on here.

Hi Again,

Have you got 1837 on-line?

You could look up his birth/marriage & death on there.

Someone on here is offering free 1837 Look-ups if you haven't.

Best Wishes, Romilly.
