Who was Alice Maud... COMPLETED THANKS!
« on: Saturday 27 May 06 01:41 BST (UK) »
Was it just in Medway or were other areas affected by the "Alice Maud" craze in the 1800s?  There are at least three in my extended tree and I am constantly seeing others in the parish registers on CityArk.

Who was Alice Maud and why was she so popular?

; )

Regards,
Josephine
