Looking for John Steavenson
« on: Saturday 27 May 06 08:37 BST (UK) »
This guy was married to Elizabeth Fenwick, they were both from Northumberland but may have married in Scotland. Their second son Hugh Ross was christened in Rosemarkie 1835 and John was a merchant and provost of Fortrose in 1837. Would like any info on them at all.
Thanks
Christine

Thanks for trying but Elizabeth was born 1809. I should have mentioned that in my original post. I do know they were in Liverpool, Toxteth Park by 1841 and in 1851. Elizabeth is listed as merchant's wife Newfoundland Trade but John is missing, maybe he's aboard ship somewhere.
