Hiya Mike

This looks good!

From the IGI: FamilySearch

Samuel Dabb baptised 2 Jun 1816, Saint Mewan, Cornwall
Parents: William Dabb and Prudence

The bad news is that I can't find William or Prudence on the 1841!
But, these MIGHT faintly possibly be Samuel's siblings:

Parents: William Dabb and Prudence
Elizabeth Dabb, bap. 23 Nov 1806, St Agnes Near Truro, Cornwall
William Dabb, bap. 22 Apr 1810, St Agnes Near Truro, Cornwall
Mary Dabb, bap. 5 Dec 1812, St Agnes Near Truro, Cornwall
Mary Dabb, bap. 25 Dec 1818, St Mewan, Cornwall (maybe the first Mary died)

A surname of Le Grand sounds very exciting!  :D

Best wishes
Koromo

Ahhh! This could be Samuel's brother, if the above IGI information is correct:

Mount Charles, St Austell, Cornwall
William Dabb, head, 41, miner tin? flow dealer, b. St Agnes
Mary Dabb, wife, 34, b. St Sheppey

Henerita Dabb, dau, 3, scholar, b. St Austell
Louisa Dabb, dau, 2, at home, b. St Austell

Re your Esther Le Grand, I'll add on to your posted request on the Channel Islands Board.

There has been quite a lot of work done on Dabb - the evidence so far is that any Dabb from Cornwall is connected to the same family which originated in Probus in Cornwall.  Family folklore is these peple were French & there is some circumstantial evidence to support this unproven point.  The family initially seemed to be agricultural workers - but of course later on most became miners & migrated to New Zealand, Australia & North America.  All Dabb's (ie no S) in New Zealand & Australia are part of the same family which has its roots in Cornwall.  There is a large Dabb family tree put together by a few members of the family - but I do not have this Cooper Dabb connection so very keen to learn more about this.  My paternal Grandmother was a Dabb & her forbears came to New Zealand abt 1855 & settled in Thames in the Coromandel - of course to be Gold Miners.  Love to make contact & learn about this branch.

Hello
I am looking for some help with William J. Dabb as he is listed on his son's death certificate. (Born abt 1837) His wife is listed as Mary Ann Rowe on said certificate from Dickinson County, Michigan.  Rowe is Mary Anns new married name.  She is listed in the 1880 US Census for Marquette County, Michigan married to Henry Rowe.  Sons William John Dabb and James Henry Dabb are living with her.  Along with Thomas and Edwin Rowe (Henry's Sons).  I believe Mary Ann to be Mary Ann Goldsworthy.  But the Marriage record I find for Mary Ann in 1857 She marries John Dabb son on Aminadab Dabb.  When I believe him to be the son of Melchisedec Dabb.  I can find no record of an Aminadab Dabb anywhere.   The 1861 UK census has Mary Ann married to a copper miner but he is not listed.  The 1871 UK census lists Mary Ann as married but she is living with her mother with her 3 children.  Their daughter dies in Feb 1874.  And she has a son by Henry Rowe abt 1876 in Pennsylvania.  From there they are found in Marquette County MI in 1880.  But there is no sign of William Sr. Anywhere.  I can not find a marriage record for Mary Ann and Henry Rowe either. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank You .
