Does anyone have any info on passenger lists from USA to Canada around the 1860's?

At that time if they went over the border it wouldn't have been recorded.  The border wasn't monitored then (many people went to the US via Canada for this reason, to get past the checks at US ports).

Just to add to Jorose you could come and go across the border up until c1907 before they started checking.
