Bolton Soldiers who died in WW 1
« on: Sunday 04 June 06 16:18 BST (UK) »
My Gt Grandad lived in Bolton and joined the Loyal North Lancs Regiment. Thanks to loads of help and info from Manmack and Harribobs I went to the Regimental Museum at Fulwood,Preston a few days ago.The Archivists were really helpful, and one of them told me that the  Bolton Journal did a small biog on the Soldiers who died and often it included a photo.

I haven't been to look yet,but it is indexed and they are on Microfilm held at Bolton archives+ Local history department.
