1841 Hulme - looking for the Ball family
« on: Saturday 23 October 04 09:21 BST (UK) »
Hi there,

I'd really appreciate help in finding Thomas & Susan Ball + their children. I'm fairly sure they were in Hulme as their youngest child was born there in the 1830s. They were living at 24 Agnes Street in 1851, if that's any help. Thomas Ball was a chelsea pensioner - I don't know if he was retired by 1841 or still a soldier.

I would be very grateful for any help with this - the identities of all their children is a crucial piece of missing information for me.

Thanks!

Hi Shell - and thank you!
Yes, these are the Balls I was looking for. Thanks to you, I now know that they were also family members (this is the first time I've been able to place eldest son Henry, my great-great grandfather, with the rest.)
Thanks again,
cicely
