need help finding birth or baptisim

I am looking for the birth of a JAMES HASELL ,father GEORGE ,born in BRISLINGTON ,SOMMERSET his date of birth varys with every document i come across it starts in 1820s  .he was married in INDIA 1848 to MATILDA CHICK died CARDIFF 1894 aged70 .on his marriage cert in1848 he says he is 27 on the 1891 census he says he was 69 .as you can nothing tallies any help welcome .

Brislington is in Bristol and Bristol family history society produce a C.D. of Bristol baptisms which they will check for about £2.00 an entry.  You can also purchase it from them.  I am sorry I don't have it as my ancestors came from Bath.
