Would like help in how to trace people who worked on the Glamorgan canal all i hahe so far is that they were based at the LLANNOVER PONTYPRIDD,or the TUNNEL CARDIFF, any information i will be thankfull fore.

I have just googled for info on Glamorgan canal workers and lots to seem to come up but alas there does not seem to be any names. I read one thread from another site that site prior to 1861 the only info taken for census' was merely if the inhabitants were male or female. After this date it states that names were hit and miss but enumerated after the housholds for each area. Hope this is of some help but i will keep looking for you.
