Thanks, that's helpful.  I found some great old ordnance maps at http://www.nls.uk/digitallibrary/map/townplans/index.html.

I've been looking through the addresses of current lodges and have found that in more than one case, four or five lodges share the same address.  I'm curious about this.

Have you tried looking for your ancestors at the Inchinnan, Renfrew Lodge?  I stumbled across this one when doing my own research.

Thanks. No I haven't looked at that one. Is there a web site affiliated with the lodge?  I haven't seen one and wonder if you have a good source.
