Looking after a family bible
« on: Thursday 15 June 06 21:49 BST (UK) »
I have a bible that belonged to my great grandparents. It was published in 1853 and contains family records back to that time. I am the last generation that can be trusted to keep the bible safe. Is there somewhere that takes old family bibles and protects them.

HI

How wonderfull for you to have such a keepsake.

Do you have a Library nearby that has a local history section maybe they would take care of it.

Maybe even the local newspaper would love to have somthing like that.

Maybe your local County Records Office;  perhaps the Society of Genealogists??

Or is there a local Museum in the area where your family lived?

Hope these help.
