hi
BlackBoy high street, Dartford was a coaching inn. Coach service ran between Blackboy and the Spur inn at Borough, south London. Demolished in 1966 to make way for a pair of shop units. it has been a pub since 1707. the Dartford workhouse trustees met here in 1729, just a year after the workhouse itself was founded on west hill.

Thanks very much for both replies.

It's a shame that I could find nothing about it on the internet. The person who registered an ancestor's death, gave that address.

Once again, thanks,
