Has anybody come across this word on a gravestone?  Does anybody know what it means in this context?  To make things clear, it would be one word - not part of a sentence.

my dictionary says ...... noun - oblivion

Freedom from worry -  care -  or unpleasantness .......  :-\

So that may be good on a gravestone !! ( must remember that !!)
