Sorry for the delay in replying, it's very hot here everyone is melting, no air-con. Hope you have had an enjoyable weekend.
I went back to the 1841 census, the first one. I was hoping Charles and Elizabeth would be with their families to give us another generation. Not to be ,Elizabeth Jessop age 15 was a servant to a vicar at Christian Malford  Wiltshire. I couldn't find her parents, they may have been dead, . but I did find a record of her christening 25/6/1826 at Windlesham Surrey and her parents were Henry and Elizabeth.
Charles I could not find, I am sure he was a servant somewhere but where?. The good thing is I found what I am positive is his family, living at Andover Hampshire. Robert 45, Rachel 45, and children William 11, Ann 8, John 5 and Robert 2. Robert's occupation was a Hostler, that is someone who looked after horses usually at a coaching inn. Unfortunately no royal connection.
I will let you digest this information for now, it will be more difficult going back further but not impossible.
