From the 1862 marriage certificate, registration district Eton at possibly Stoke Poges,
Robert calls himself a Wine Merchant
Robert's father was John Taylor, Gamekeeper.
The witnesses were
George Felix Gray
Mary Ann Short
John Ferryman
Ella Short
All fitting fine, in fact working back the 61 and 51 census both fit fine, I find Robert is single in both and living in Peascod Street as a Wine Cellarman in 61 and General servant in 51.
The problems are with the 71 and 41, I cant find Robert on the 71, I know where his wife and youngest daughter are but not him Annie, Henry & Frank. That's not such a big deal just frustrating
. But when I look for Robert in 41 the match I find just seems a little odd given his future career and status. So I guess what I am asking is for someone else to look at 71 and 41 for possible matches.
Wow sorry that was so long winded, any help would be really appreciated, JK
