I'm looking for some relatives who may still be living in South Africa. The only information i have was taken from a death notice in 1971.
Major John Herbert ROSSOUW
Mercy Lillian ROSSOUW (Born FRARY) probably born around 1920/30.
Daniel Gerhardus ROSSOUW of Hibberdene.
Mercy ROSSOUW's parents were Herbert FRARY born 1880 in Kirby Cane Norfolk, Enlgland and Mildred QUARMAN born 1881 Bombay India. A family member of Herberts has informed me that he was british military who jumped ship in South Africa and stayed there. He encountered many problems in South Africa as his wife was not "wholly white." Mildreds QUARMAN's parents were William QUARMAN born 1845 Bethnal Green, Middlesex, England and Louisa Matilda MULLET born 1856 India.
I have looked in the South African white pages for these living relatives, but as there are several possible matches - and the matches show only first initial, rather than full christian name, i wondered if there was an easier way to find them!
